It consists of: Trustees; a Board of Directors; Management Committee; Advisory Board (both national and international) and the Secretariat which is headed by the Executive Director. The Executive Director is supported by 3 professional staff and 2 support staff.

SERAP’s Trustees consist of 2 members, and were elected by its board of directors. The Registered Trustees have power to accept and hold in trust all land belonging to SERAP, and may bring court cases on behalf of SERAP on matters relating to SERAP’s mandates. The Board of Directors consists of 5 members, and has the responsibility of formulating general policy guidelines (in line with the objectives of the Organization) for the implementation by the Secretariat.

Members are nominated by the Management Committee.
